Slugs are often unwelcome guests in vegetable gardens, orchards and flower beds, considering they eat the leaves of flowers and vegetables and leave slimy trails wherever they go. This slug trap is the most environmentally friendly way of preventing damage to plants caused by slugs. Place the trap amidst the plants that are suffering from these not so welcome creatures and fill it with beer. Beer will attract slugs to enter and will trap them inside.
